Beyonce "4", Album Review

Last week, Tuesday June 28th, Beyonce´ released her album “4” and I’m pleased to say that this album does not disappoint.  She has taken her time in the studio experimenting with a variety of techniques and sounds, and the result is 12 tracks of distinct personalities. Beyonce's vocal talent is showcased on tracks such as “1+1” and “Start Over”; the way she uses her voice to convey the lyrics brings the  album to life. “Party” and “Love on Top” have an old school R&B feel.  If you’re into great rhythm sections check out “End of Time”.  This album definitely deserves a listen, you will most likely find something that catches your ear.

Producer and songwriter, Babyface, who wrote the track “Best I never had”, said this about Beyonce´: "Icons are made. Stars are born. From the moment Beyoncé took her first breath, her star was shining. What an honor it is for me to say that I danced with a true star, or wrote."

Check out her documentary, Year of 4, it’s a great short film that explains the journey of  creating the new album. You can also get a free listen of the album there.
