Real Kings Don't Die: Akhenaten

Hailed as arguably the greatest pharaoh of Ancient Egypt, Akhenaten embodies everything that we mean when we say "Real Kings Don't Die". It’s inevitable that a "Real Kings" post on a pharaoh would arrive. It is understood that Africa, more specifically Egypt is the birthplace of mankind, so why would there not be a post on some of the first kings to ever rule. This process of selecting a pharaoh to present to our readers was hard though, these are some great men. When thinking of pharaohs the first thing that comes to mind is off course Tutankhamen, King Tut, but after thorough research we have unraveled that King Tut didn't possess the essential attributes we admire. He is renowned infamously due to the fact that his tomb has produced the most remains of any pharaoh in history. Akhenaten on the other hand had all the qualities that we were looking for.

Real Kings Don't Die: Bob Marley

In this life, in this oh sweet life we’re coming in from the cold. Indeed, we all are trying to find that place of warmth or more so comfort. That place where everything is good regardless of our circumstances and Bob Marley took us there through his music. True music is that of which musicians use their words to paint pictures, transmit movies, and give the listener an illustrious vision through mere speech. This is a direct description of what Bob Marley did with his music. There was love, righteousness, poverty, history, all conveyed through Marley’s music. He was his music; his beliefs, his way of life, everything that was in his lyrics was him. He taught us, brought his life to us from the love in his heart to the hardships endured by his people, preaching of togetherness. To say that he was just a musician and not a prophet would be an insult to his impact and influence. An impact and influence that has done nothing but grown abundantly since his death, making it certain that Bob Marley is a King and an Icon.

Real Kings Don't Die: Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. is a King in every sense of the word. There is no need to elaborate much on this man, he has made his mark and we all know of him. Baptist Minister, Civil Rights Activist, youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner are of his achievements. What makes him stand out the most to us at Forever Kings were his methods of nonviolence adopted from Ghandi. He was a great man indeed but to have endured the hardships that he did and maintain his composure is what made him that much greater and acknowledgeable. Although he was an unviolent man, the state of his power and the oppositions fear of his power made it almost inevitable that his life would end violently. Here is King's speech the night before he was assassinated, it is almost as though he knew what was upon him.

If you have read the About Us you know why we have named ourselves Forever Kings. Going deeper behind that name we have decided to present a series to our viewers entitled “Real Kings Don’t Die”. The concept of this series is to feature notable kings in history who’s legacy have lived on through there death. This series will mostly be based on actual kings but we will also feature notable men in history that have carried themselves in a regal manner. We dub these men: Forever Kings.
